Our Management team

Based in London and Yorkshire, Critical Impact’s specialist team has considerable experience working with customers at all levels. We combine experience and expertise in strategic business management, across industry sectors, and with information technology strategy and fine detail  – everything you would expect from a company delivering mission-critical IT infrastructures.

Ronan McDonald

Ronan is managing director of Critical Impact. He is responsible for business planning and marketing within the business and also acts as project director on large customer implementations.

Ronan's first role in senior management was as managing director of channel distribution business Ideal Hardware plc (now Bell Micro) before running the network infrastructure and services division of Microsoft Gold Partner ROCC Computers. With an MBA from Imperial College London, Ronan brings that university’s reputation for innovation to Critical Impact.

 

Fraser Robertson

Fraser is Critical Impact’s operations director, responsible for ensuring the smooth and effective operation of the organisation in all areas including customer services, commercial administration, demand planning, orders and fulfilment.

Fraser draws upon 21 years experience in the IT sector including running warehouses in the East Block and business development and project management roles at major IT resellers in the UK.

 

Graham Moon

Sales director, Graham Moon, combines over 20 years experience in IT sales and distribution with hands-on roles in sales and managing director positions in the international automotive and engineering systems industries.

With first hand experience of the value of IT infrastructure, Graham’s goal is to build customer relationships which deliver customer satisfaction in the long term. Graham adopts a strong project management-based approach, working closely with customers and driving progress with partners and suppliers to deliver successful projects.

 

Steve Butterfield

Steve is technical director of Critical Impact, responsible for the successful development and delivery of the company’s IT infrastructure services to customers. As the previous founder and technical director of one of the UK’s first and most innovative Sun resellers PCS, Steve brings considerable experience to Critical Impact.

In his role as technical director, Steve is leading on the development of the company’s up24 brand of managed services designed to cost effectively support customers’ IT infrastructures. Steve has many years experience in the Sun IT environment and was one of the first people in the UK to work with the company’s products.
